Frazier to face mirror image foe in Cranberry

Frazier coach Don Hartman wanted to get the best scouting report on Cranberry, the Commodores’ opponent in today’s PIAA 2A semifinal softball game at Slippery Rock.
So, he watched the Berries play in their 7-6 quarterfinal win over Laurel.
What Hartman saw concerned him a great deal.
He saw a team very similar to the one he has molded at Frazier.
“I like to play small ball. I like to get the bat on the ball, hit line drives, move guys around and make things happen,” Hartman said. “That’s what Cranberry does. At least, that’s what they did against Laurel.”
