Charleroi Education Foundation hits goal

The Charleroi Area School District Education Foundation has reached its biggest goal yet.
The foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides financial support for performing arts, athletics, academics and extracurricular activities in all Charleroi Area schools.
The foundation has contributed more than $100,000 for classroom projects and scholarships to students attending colleges and trade schools.
In November 2017, the group took on one of its biggest projects to date — raising $80,000 to purchase Chromebooks for each student in the middle school.
