West Middlesex ends Trojans’ season

In the days leading up to the PIAA Class A quarterfinals, Lou Pasquale didn’t know much about West Middlesex, his California team’s opponent on Thursday. 

But after the two teams played, Pasquale was ready to make a proclamation.

“This is definitely the best team we played all season long,” Pasquale said. “They would have spanked everybody we played, too. No doubt it my mind.”

Such a statement might seem a bit bold, but after the events that unfolded, it was hard to think otherwise.
