Another shooting in McKeesport

In less than 24 hours, Allegheny County homicide detectives have been called to investigate two shootings in McKeesport – one of which was fatal. 

Three people were arrested Monday after a 22-year-old male was shot multiple times in the leg at the Harrison Village apartment complex around 1:06 p.m. Police confirmed that the unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital via a personal vehicle and is in stable condition.

James Scott, 17, is charged with aggravated assault, firearm violations, narcotics violations, endangering the welfare of children and tampering with evidence. Tyrone Bynum, 22, is charged with aggravated assault and firearm violations. Ricky Sallis, 21, is charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and tampering with evidence. 

None of the suspects was arraigned prior to presstime.
