William Jacob ‘Bill’ Granlund – Belle Vernon

William Jacob “Bill’’ Granlund, 33, of Belle Vernon, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Born in Greensburg on Sept. 15, 1985, he was the son of Sally A. Farmer Granlund and the late Arthur A. Granlund. Bill was a security guard for Allied Security and worked at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Smithton. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He is survived by his mother, Sally A. Granlund; his half-brother, Eric Matthew (Brandi) Granlund of Yukon; niece, Abigail Granlund; and nephews, Erik Granlund and Arthur James Granlund. In addition to his father, Arthur A. Granlund, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William S. and Margaret A. Campbell Farmer; and paternal grandparents, Arthur J. and Emily Daniels Granlund. At Bill’s request, there will be no public viewing and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to JAMES C.
