LaVon J. Estochin – McKeesport, formerly of West Mifflin

LaVon J. Estochin, 88, of McKeesport, formerly of West Mifflin, died May 31, 2019, at John J. Kane Regional Medical Center. Born April 30, 1931, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Edward H. and Mary E. Bachelor Campbell. LaVon retired from McKeesport Hospital, where she was an EKG technician with 28 years of service. She enjoyed working on her laptop, reading, playing bingo and trips to the casino. LaVon loved traveling with her family and visiting her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Flatley of Glassport and Barbara (Richard) Babjak of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Jennifer (Matthew) Minnitte of Florida, Michael (Jessica) Babjak of Elizabeth and Mark (Candice) Babjak of Florida; great-grandchildren, Adriana, Grace, Brynn, Halie and Abby; along with nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, LaVon was preceded in death by siblings, Pearl Linderman, Charles Campbell, Ellen Crawford, Martha Boot, Shirley Pomycala, Dorothy Rollason, Evelyn Brucker, Marion Holloway and Edward Campbell. Family and friends will be received at WILLIG FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. June 4, 2019. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.willigfuneralcremationservices.com.
