McKeesport College Club honors 3 ‘young women of achievement’

“The power of young McKeesport women” was celebrated by the McKeesport College Club on Tuesday as three “young women of achievement” who are graduating from McKeesport-based high schools this week were awarded scholarships, but the awards banquet was emotional for one of the scholars.
Jordyn Dunston and McKenna Schork, both seniors at McKeesport Area High School and Emma Nelson, a senior at Serra Catholic High School, each received $1,000 scholarships at the club’s annual spring dinner, which was held at Stratigos Banquet Center in North Huntingdon.
