Trojans golden again

After it was announced earlier this month his team earned the No. 1 seed in the WPIAL Class A playoffs, California head coach Lou Pasquale still wanted to see more. 

To convince himself that his Trojans deserved the top seed, he needed to see three more wins. 

Now with a WPIAL championship in hand, Pasquale’s convinced his team is the cream of the crop. 

The Trojans captured the Class A title — its third since 2014 and sixth in program history — with a 9-6 victory Tuesday over No. 3-seed Union at Wild Things Park in North Franklin Township.
