Eagles fall short in title game

Being around baseball for over two decades, longtime Serra Catholic head coach Brian Dzurenda knows too well that sometimes you just don’t have it.
Wednesday was that day for the Eagles.
Section rival Seton LaSalle jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the third inning and kept its foot on the gas, tearing through every pitcher the Eagles threw en route to an 11-2 win to claim the WPIAL Class 2A championship at Wild Things Park.
