Eagles, Rebels set for round 3 in WPIAL title game

In a way, the paths Serra Catholic and Seton-LaSalle took to the WPIAL 2A championship are quite similar.
Serra Catholic, with six underclassmen starting, caught fire after an early-season loss to win 15 of its last 16 games. Seton-LaSalle starts four freshmen and has won 13 consecutive games.
The expectation for these groups were very different when the season started two months ago.
Eagles coach Brian Dzurenda admits he only expected a playoff win or two, even though the Eagles made the title game last year. Mike Wagner predicted a championship appearance when he took the Seton LaSalle job a year and a half ago.
