McKeesport teen killed in shooting

A McKeesport senior has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting early Friday morning in Pittsburgh’s South Side Flats neighborhood. 

According to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office, Morgan Dunston, 18, was pronounced dead at a Pittsburgh-area hospital around 3:25 a.m. Friday, less than one week before her graduation from McKeesport Area High School. 

Police were called to the area of South 27th and Jane streets around 3 a.m. for a report of shots fired. 

They found bullet holes in the windows of the Hot Metal Bridge Faith Community Center, but have not yet identified a suspect.
