Yough baseball coach Craig Spisak is hoping that history won’t repeat itself for the Cougars … yet again.
The No. 2 seeded Cougars (14-5) take on the No. 6 Beaver Area Bobcats (12-7) in the WPIAL 4A semifinals 2 p.m. today at Washington & Jefferson.
The game will mark the third time Yough has been to the semifinals since 2000. The first two times they got this far, the Cougars were eliminated (’00, ’03).
“I hope for a better result this time,” Spisak said with a smile.
