‘Frenemies’ set to battle for championship berth

When the Class 2A softball playoff bracket was revealed, there may not have been a coach more unhappy with his team’s draw than Frazier’s Don Hartman.
Not only did he think his team deserved better than the No. 5 seed, he didn’t like the fact the Commodores were placed on the same side of the bracket as No. 1 seed Chartiers-Houston.
Now, here we are.
The Commodores (16-3) and Buccaneers (17-3) meet at 6 p.m. today at Trinity with a berth in the WPIAL championship game on the line.
