Four family members who are charged in connection with the March robbery of a Wendy’s in White Oak were all held for trial after preliminary hearings Monday.

Dawn Harper, 40, of McKeesport, Anthony Harper, 42, of White Oak, Tyonna Harper, 18, of McKeesport and Robert E. Harper, 46, of Wilkinsburg, were all ordered to stand trial in Allegheny County Court in connection with the March 22 robbery.

Dawn, Anthony and Robert Harper have since been charged in connection with a robbery that allegedly took place in West Mifflin the night before the incident at Wendy’s. Police also allege that while evading arrest on robbery charges, Robert Harper committed a murder in Larimer.

According to police, Tyonna Harper worked at the White Oak Wendy’s and helped plan the robbery. Her father, Anthony Harper, and uncle, Robert Harper, allegedly held employees at gunpoint during the incident and escaped in a car driven by Dawn Harper, Tyonna’s mother, the affidavit of probable cause states.
