Monessen’s Epiphany of Our Lord Church will have music in the air next month as it welcomes a world-famous group of young performers.

The St. John’s Boys’ Choir of Minnesota will hold a free concert immediately following 4 p.m. Mass June 8 at the 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. location.

Church secretary Tara Manderino said the congregation is also excited to have the boys participate during Mass, which is open to the public and will include an offering.

“The boys’ choir has shared their sacred music in some of the world’s most famous churches — Notre Dame in Paris, Sagrada Família in Barcelona and Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin, to name a few,” Manderino said, adding the boys have also received an invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City in June.
