Joanne D. Uddstrom – Monongahela and New Eagle

Joanne D. Uddstrom, 83, of Monongahela and New Eagle, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born Aug 6, 1935, in Monongahela, the daughter of Dewey J. and Stella Bane DeCooman.​ Joanne attended Monongahela city schools. She was a homemaker and spent her life taking care of her son, David.​ She is survived by her niece, Jane Budd of Punta Gorda, Fla.; and numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.​ In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl D. Uddstrom; son, David Alan Uddstrom, who died Nov. 16, 2018; two brothers, Francis “Bud” DeCooman and Dewey “Sonny” DeCooman; three sisters, Nora Richards, Alice Louttit, and Vera Fredericks; and her loving companion, Thomas A. Bianchi.​ Joanne was laid to rest in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.​ The FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC. was in charge of the arrangements.
