William Williams Jr., 81, of Monongahela, Forward Township, died Monday, May 13, 2019, in the Residence at Hilltop, Monongahela. He was born March 7, 1938, in Bunola, the son of William and Anna Sarah Hart Williams.​ Mr. Williams was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and was a peacetime veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired with over 30 years of employment from Frank Irey Jr. Inc. and attended the Bunola Church of the Nazarene. Throughout the years, Mr. Williams spent a lot of time helping out with the family farm in Forward Township.​ He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Burr and husband Todd of Mechanicsville, Md.; son, Jeffrey Williams and wife Rachael of Fallowfield Township; six grandchildren, Madeline, Lane, twins, Austin and Dylan, Lee Williams and Sarah Burr; four brothers, John Williams and wife Edna of Monessen, Harry Williams and wife Karen of Elizabeth Township, Paul Williams and wife Sandy of Forward Township and Glenn Williams and wife LuAnne of Fallowfield Township; two sisters, Janet Langford of Forward Township and Margaret Dyer of Manassas, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews.​ In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ann Fine Williams, who died April 29, 2017.​ Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at FRYE FUNERAL HOME INC., 427 W. Main St., Monongahela, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019, with the Rev. Ronald Doran officiating. Interment will follow in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
