Rose Ulisky – Monongahela

Rose Ulisky, 90, of Monongahela, died Friday, May 10, 2019, in her home. Born July 21, 1928, in Webster, she was the daughter of Samuel and Agnes Sanika Kohut. A member of The Nativity of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church in Monongahela, Rose worked for over 40 years into her early 80s as a waitress for Rego’s Italian Restaurant in Charleroi. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Marlene Ulisky of Sebastian, Fla., and David Ulisky of Monongahela; and many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were five brothers, Michael, Peter, Paul, Nick and George Kohut; and a sister, Agnes Bednarczyk. Friends will be received at MARSHALL MARRA FUNERAL HOME, 216 Chess St., Monongahela, 724-258-6767, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019. Interment will be private and held in Monongahela Cemetery at a later time. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15025.
