JoAnne Walker Onisko, 64, of Allenport, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Born June 10, 1954, in Brownsville, she was the daughter of the late Willis and Lois Franks Walker. A resident of Allenport for the past two years, having previously resided in Daisytown, Mrs. Onisko was a member of Howe Methodist Church, was a homemaker and previously worked at Flo’s Personal Care Home, Elco. JoAnne enjoyed painting, drawing, crafting, cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, Johnny Onisko of Brownsville, Tania (Shane) Slother of Shippenville, Pa., and Steven Onisko of Roscoe; four grandchildren, Hannah Slother, Samuel Slother, Della Onisko and Lola Onisko; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis and Sue Walker of Florida, Dennis and Annette Walker of Perryopolis and Ron and Mary Lou Walker of Coal Center; a sister and brother-in-law, Janine and Larry Fowler of Coal Center; and a sister-in-law, Mary Walker of Coal Center. She was preceded in death by her former spouse, John Patrick Onisko; granddaughter, Alyssa Slother; and a brother, Ritchie Walker. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, family owned and operated, 626 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183.
