Joanne Malatin Manack – Perryopolis

Joanne Malatin Manack, 83, of Perryopolis, Perry Township, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019, at Upton’s Country Comfort, Normalville. Born April 7, 1936, in Perryopolis, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Phillips Malatin. A resident of Perryopolis for the past 49 years, Mrs. Manack was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, James A.  Manack, to whom she was married 65 years; three children, Rebecca (Mark) Gira of Perryopolis, Mark (Victoria) Manack of Perryopolis and Christine (Randy) Hutchinson of Frankfort, Ky.; daughter-in-law, Linda Manack of Florissant, Colo.; 11 grandchildren, Nicole, Natalie, Carrie, Jessica, Jennifer, Mark, Colin, Megan, Charles, Brett and Brita; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Manack. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, family owned and operated, 191 Liberty St., Perryopolis, 724-736-2515. Prayers of Transfer will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed by funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. John The Baptist RC Church with the Rev. Alvin E. Cabungcal as celebrant.  Interment will take place in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Members of St. John the Baptist parish will pray the Rosary for the departed soul of Joanne Manack at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Joanne Manack to Upton’s Country Comfort, Normalville.
