Charges fly at Donora meeting

Politics took center stage in the waning minutes of what had been a rather sedate Donora borough council meeting Thursday night.
Joe Greco, a retired police officer and current candidate for council, was the final resident set to speak for the night.
Greco asked Councilman John Conger to answer some questions because he was on council in 2016 and he believed Conger would give him straight answer.
“In 2016, the borough had a grant to put in a water line on Third Avenue,” Greco said. “It was to start at the top of Third Avenue and run down to the public park.”
