Rams end section play with win over Tigers

As two teams on the opposite end of the playoffs, McKeesport and Ringgold rounded out section play Tuesday on the Rams’ home field.
It was Ringgold, taking advantage of youthful mistakes and timely hits, coming away with a 13-6 win to round out the Section 2-4A slate.
McKeesport (2-10, 2-10) committed eight errors defensively and allowed a seven-run third inning.
“We’ve had a lot to overcome this season,” McKeesport coach Jason Elash said. “We had a lot of errors and some other things in this one and we’ve only put our entire team on the field probably less than 30 percent of the time.
