Kirkwood sisters lead SA to 10-0 rout

As each game passes, the sense of urgency grows for the South Allegheny softball team.
Each game is a reminder that only so many remain for the six seniors who lead this group.
On Wednesday, those six were given an especially strong reminder of such, as they were honored before the game. Perhaps those festivities lit a fire under the Gladiators.
Certainly, South Allegheny (13-2, 7-2) looked like a motivated bunch, easily dismantling Waynesburg Central (6-7, 3-6) on the way to a 10-0 Section 3-3A win in five innings.
In all phases, South Allegheny expertly and efficiently got the job done.
