A four-run fifth inning was just what the doctor ordered for the Belle Vernon Area baseball team.
Trailing 3-0 heading into the frame, the Leopards used two walks, two bunts, two singles and an infield single to take a one-run lead.
The game-winning run was scored when Josh Hoffman laid down a squeeze bunt with the bases loaded to score Mason Pascoe and give the Leopards a 4-3 lead.
Reliever Andrew Kostelnik, taking over for starter Erik Pietrantoni, entered and sat the Rams down in order to seal the 4-3 win for BVA (8-5, 7-4).
