United Way presents awards

The United Way of Mon Valley celebrated those who made contributions in 2018 during its 58th annual awards presentation reception at Off the Wall Arts in Charleroi.
The Guttman Group was honored with the Director’s Award for the largest company campaign and the President’s Award for the most contributions raised for the impact fund.
Five companies received Campaign Excellence Awards for increasing their total campaign contributions, special events or for having a higher percentage of employee participation — cfsbank, California University of Pennsylvania, Eastman Chemical/Flexsys Plant, Lee Supply Co. and Monongahela Valley Hospital.
Certificates of appreciation were given to 36 companies and six agencies in addition to individuals and businesses for their annual campaign fund drive participation.
