After a four-month hiatus, the Our Communities of Elizabeth group met Thursday night at Rock Run Inn to talk about happenings within the communities that comprise the Elizabeth Forward School District.

The meeting was hosted by Rock Run Inn manager Joe Goellner and Our Communities of Elizabeth member Stephanie Balog Squibb. The group’s founder, Norm Candelore, could not be present because of an emergency.

The night featured presentations from Kimberly Price, communications director for Monroeville-based Huntley & Huntley Energy Explorations Inc. and Elizabeth Township residents, Dr. Bart Rocco, Rich Algeri, Lani Knabenschuh, Dan Poirier, Megan McDonough and current Elizabeth Township Commissioner Andrew Kuzma, who are vying for a spot on the township’s board of commissioners. They each gave a presentation on why they should be elected and their visions are for the future of the township.

During her keynote presentation, Price provided a timeline for when Huntley & Huntley’s gas drilling, construction and fracking operations in Elizabeth Township will be completed.
