Florence Louise Oslowski Anders – formerly of Monessen

Florence Louise Oslowski Anders died on April 19, 2019, at age 90, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. “Flo,” also known as “Nana,” dedicated her life to her faith and entire family. She always greeted people with a smile and never met a stranger. Flo graduated from Donora High School in 1948 and treasured her Polish-American heritage. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Krajci and husband Larry in Little Rock, Ark.; daughter Lynne Hill and husband Dr. Lyndon Michael in Asheville, N.C.; son, Alan Anders and wife Trudy in Asheville, N.C.; grandson, John Paul Senich Jr. and wife Erin; great-granddaughter, Ellie of Fox Chapel, Pa.; and step-grandsons, Greg Hill of Asheville, N.C., and Matt Hill and wife Julie and their son Lyndon of Kaiserslautern, Germany. Flo was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Joseph Anders; parents, Martin Michael Oslowski and Anna Agatha Szymczyk Oslowski; Oslowski brothers, Theodore, Edward, Walter and Peter; and sisters, Ann Carbone and Josephine. Funeral Mass will be held in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen PA 15062, at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019, followed by graveside services at St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery.
