Mark C. Patterson, 50, of Dayton, Ohio, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019. He was born in Charleroi on June 23, 1968. Mark was a 1986 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School. He worked as a tree trimmer for Treemendous Tree Company. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Joann LaRew Patterson Jones and Vencen Jones; sister, Patricia A. (Edwin) Klemm; nieces and nephews, Justin Vernet, Staisha Gereshenski, Bethann Gereshenski, Josh Gereshenki and Michael Mancine; and his best friend, Michelle Plutch. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence E. Patterson; and sister, Cathy Mancine; and newhew, George Gereshenski. Friends will be received Thursday from noon to 2 p.m. at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with Pastor Ken Sommerfeldt officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
