Warriors start fast in rout of Ringgold

In its previous meeting with Ringgold, it took the Elizabeth Forward softball team some time to get its offense going.
Only a few pitches in to Tuesday’s rematch, Anna Resnik made it clear EF wasn’t going to waste any time.
The shortstop’s lead-off home run set the tone for a five-run first inning that catapulted the Warriors to a 10-0 six-inning win at William Penn Field.
Resnik’s first career homer was a part of an 11-hit effort for the Warriors (9-3, 8-0), who extended their winning streak to eight.
