Charleroi receives $45K through EIP

Charleroi has received funding from the state to move forward with the Early Intervention Program. 

During a special meeting in December, council agreed to move forward with entering into the Early Intervention Program through the state Department of Community and Economic Development.

The programs works with communities to improve their fiscal positions and promote financial stability.

On Wednesday, Charleroi was awarded a $45,000 grant from the Department of Community and Economic Development specifically for financially distressed communities, announced state Rep. Bud Cook R-West Pike Run Township.
