Frazier head coach Dan Kupets has been around the game of baseball long enough to know what it takes to win.
He’s coached at pretty much every level and understands that errors, wild pitches and miscues on the bases won’t get the job done.
All of the above came back to haunt Kupets’ Commodores in a 7-2 loss to Carmichaels in Section 1-2A play Tuesday evening.
Frazier (4-4, 2-3) committed four errors behind starting pitcher Trevor Hayes who threw five wild pitches in the loss. A pair of players were picked off base in the fourth inning and six runners were stranded on base, including three in the sixth.
