Chartiers-Houston handed the Frazier softball team its only loss this season back on March 30. It was a game the Commodores thought they should have won.
In the rematch Tuesday, the Commodores – using speed, clutch hitting, perfect defense and the arm of Logan Hartman – got their sweet revenge over the Bucs with a 2-0 win at Allison Park Field to take a half-game lead in the Section 2-3A standings.
“The last time we played them we had a new team in our third game of the season,” Hartman said. “I was still messing with the lineup, we had girls in different places in new positions. They’re a senior-heavy team and were down South and had some games under their belt.
“This time we came in a more confident, older veteran team. We’re more sure of ourselves now.”
