A Belle Vernon Area school bus was involved in a vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Rostraver Township.

Rostraver Township police said a Chevrolet Equinox driven by Michaela Yaggi of Rostraver Township was traveling north on Fells Church Road toward the intersection of Fellsburg Road.

Police said the bus, operated by Peter Karous of Rostraver Township, was stopped at a red light on Fellsburg Road at the intersection, waiting to make a left turn onto Fells Church Road.

Two students, one 15-year-old male and one 16-year-old female, both from Rostraver Township, were on the bus at the time of the crash.
