Robert Andrew ‘Bobby’ Hanas – Fallowfield Township

Robert Andrew “Bobby” Hanas, 63, of Fallowfield Township, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019. Born on April 17, 1955, he was the son of the late Matthew and Bozena Hanas. He was a member of St. John Slovak Lutheran Church and was a 1974 graduate of Charleroi High School. He liked to tinker, read magazines, especially Popular Mechanics and help clean his church. He had worked at the Red Bull Inn, The Maples, Stone Crab Inn, Holiday Inn and for Dave Barbe. Bobby also loved collecting lighthouses. He is survived by his sisters, Kristina and Andrea Hanas of Fallowfield Township, who were also his caregivers and guides; aunt and godmother, Alice Hasko of Wisconsin; uncle, Ivan (Norma) Kuklis, of Quarryville, Pa.; and several cousins. Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2019, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Additional visitation will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m., the time of funeral services, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at St. John Slovak Lutheran Church, 327 Washington Ave., Charle- roi, with interment following in Phillipsburg Cemetery. The family would like to thank Mon Valley EMS, staff of Mon Valley Hospital ER, STAT Medevac nursing team, MICU ninth floor UPMC Presbyterian, and CORE.
