Mon Valley residents have the opportunity to bring awareness and support to mental health challenges faced by veterans.

Run as One, sponsored by Team Red, White and Blue, Team Rubicon and The Mission Continues, is held annually across the country in more than 200 locations.

This year, the Pittsburgh area will have two opportunities to participate.

The first event begins 10 a.m. today at the Waterfront in Homestead.
