Hearing waived in Elizabeth Township online sex case

An Elizabeth Township man accused of communicating online with an undercover police officer — whom he thought was a 14-year-old girl — for unlawful sexual activity waived his right to a prelimary hearing on all charges this week.
Todd M. Murray, 55, of Schweitzer Road, is charged with dissemination to minors, corruption of minors, criminal use of a communication facility and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor.
The hearing was held before Magisterial District Judge Beth S. Mills in Forward Township. Murray remains in Allegheny County Jail on $100,000 bond.
According to a press release from state Attorney General Josh Shapiro, Murray was employed as a part-time bus driver at Pennsylvania Coach Lines Inc., where his responsibilities included driving minors and coaches to sporting events.
