Donora council battles over agenda

Retired police officer Joe Greco decided not to take his turn during the public comments section toward the end of Thursday’s Donora council meeting.
Greco quipped that council members hadn’t argued quite enough for him to make a comment — council rectified that minutes later.
Councilman Gib Szakal inquired why an ordinance regarding the borough manager position and a job description for the role were not on the agenda.
Szakal was referring to last week’s work session when he asked if the ordinance would be ready to vote on this week and was told it would be.
