Kylie Gosliak’s RBI groundout in the eighth inning catapulted Ringgold to a 7-6 walkoff win over Thomas Jefferson in Section 2-4A play Wednesday afternoon.

With the game tied at 6-6, Ashlee Selembo led off the eighth by reaching and advancing to second on an error by TJ center fielder Graci Fairman. Leah Jaquay grounded out, allowing Selembo to move to third before Gosliak’s grounder to second base scored the winning run.

Selembo had two hits – including a home run in the third – and two RBIs to lead the way for Ringgold (2-4, 2-3). Jillian Scherer also had two hits in the win.

Abby Chalovich homered and drove in two runs for TJ (6-2, 3-2) while Bella Bucy doubled and drove in a run.
