McKeesport presents awards

“Respect, Dignity, Hope and Love” is more than just a motto in McKeesport, according to Mayor Michael Cherepko, who says citizens of the city strive to “exemplify” those words.
Four times per year, Cherepko’s McKeesport Message Committee issues Message Award proclamations to people who show pride and participate in philanthropic and volunteer efforts in the city.
At last week’s council meeting, Cherepko presented those proclamations to Lois Brown (Love), Larry Bridges (Hope), Alex Dalton (Dignity) and Terry Ruccio (Respect).
