Jean Elizabeth Myers, 96, of Ramona, Calif., formerly of Charleroi, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. The daughter of the late Ardwin and Martha Betler Franch, she was born in Charleroi on Nov. 18, 1922. A member of Grace Communion Church, Jean had been a resident of Charleroi until she moved to California in 1959. She had been initially employed as a telephone switchboard operator for Pac Bell in Charleroi and retired as an assistant manager for AT&T in 1981. She is survived by nieces, Marilynne Bush Stone of Charleroi and Deborah Franch Garner of Ramona, Calif., Roilynne Franch Graham of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif., and Dani’l Franch Spiceley of West Sussex, England. A nephew, Douglas Franch, preceded her in death in 2001. She also has one great-nephew; seven great-nieces and eight great-great nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. Myers, on Dec. 20, 1994; and two brothers, Capt. Ardwin G. Franch in 1989 and Roy B. Franch in 2005.
