Helen Andreas – Charleroi

Helen Andreas, 98, of Charleroi, passed away on April 4, 2019. Born on Aug. 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Andreas. She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, the Christian Mothers, and Charleroi AARP. She was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing and was a retired registered nurse and director of purchasing at Mon Valley Hospital. She also enjoyed growing flowers, yard work and world travel. Helen is survived by a niece, Myra Drury; nephew, Frank Yurich; several great-nieces and great-nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, William and John Andreas. Friends received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2019, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Mary, Mother of the Church with interment in Mt.
