Forward Township supervisors made a monetary contribution to an organization taking part in a trap/neuter/return project to help reduce the number of cats in several communities.

Chairman Tom DeRosa and supervisor Ron Skrinjorich voted during Monday’s board of supervisors meeting to make a $250 donation to Fund for Feral Cats.

Supervisor Dave Magiske was absent.

Fund for Feral Cats is a non-profit organization that has worked with the Clairton Humane Society to spay and neuter 45 cats through TNR since February.
