Car crashes into Charleroi building

Charleroi firefighters were called to the corner of 11th Street and McKean Avenue after a vehicle crashed into the Charleroi Russian Club building Monday afternoon.
Chief Bob Whiten Jr. said the driver told firefighters and police she was traveling on 11th Street between Mc-Kean and Lincoln avenues when the brakes went out in her car.
The vehicle began rolling backward and eventually crashed into the corner of the club along McKean Avenue.
The driver, who was not identified, and her child, who is less than a year old, were not injured, Whiten said.
