Wall That Heals may come to Donora

Monongahela Area Revitalization Corporation wants to bring The Wall That Heals, a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, to Donora’s Palmer Park.
At Thursday’s work session, Michelle Hazen DeHosse and Corrina Withrow, representing MARC, presented the idea to a receptive Donora council.
“This is very preliminary. We’ll need to submit our application by June, but we need to have a secured location by then,” DeHosse said. “Palmer Park is one of our top choices of where to bring it for the area.”
The Wall That Heals visited Mc-Keesport last August, setting up at Jimmy Long Field in Renziehausen Park.
