McKeesport man accused of aggravated indecent assault

A McKeesport man is in Allegheny County Jail after allegedly having non-consensual sex with a woman in his Locust Street apartment.

Ryan John Zier, 34, is charged with a felony count of aggravated indecent assault and misdemeanor charges of unlawful restraint, indecent assault, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and strangulation.

The alleged victim told police that she and Zier were at a party the night before the March 31 incident, adding that they left because he was highly intoxicated and was smoking crack cocaine, according to an affadavit of probable cause. 

When they returned to Zier’s apartment, he allegedly became angry and accused her of stealing his marijuana and sleeping with other men.
