Carroll Twp. urges support for census

Carroll Township Supervisors approved a resolution supporting the 2020 Census, Complete Count Program.
“It is very important to participate,” said board Chairman Tom Rapp. “So when the census workers come knocking on your door, please answer the door and be counted for the census.”
He added that the census determines political representation, but on a local level it affects money that the borough receives, such as liquid fuel funding.
“The more people we have the more we get,” he added.
