Mon Valley Pipeline: Zack Bowen just scratching the surface

Some of our local athletes have continued to impress as spring sports on the collegiate level have gotten under way over the last few weeks.

Here’s a look at how a few are doing from the Mon Valley Pipeline:

Serra Catholic graduate, and current freshman at Penn State Behrend, Zack Bowen is the fourth-leading hitter for the Lions (11-5, 2-0).

Bowen is a big reason why his team hasn’t lost a game in nearly three weeks.
