Eagles cruise past Vikings, 17-0

Going into Thursday’s softball game between Serra Catholic and Sto-Rox, it was apparent that there was quite a large gulf between the two teams.

Serra Catholic was an 11-win playoff team last year, and has the aspirations to do better this year. Sto-Rox failed to win a game last season.

Still, the onus was on Serra Catholic to make that disparity clear, to dominate like it should. And that it did. 

The Eagles won resoundingly, defeating and no-hitting Sto-Rox, 17-0, in a mercy rule, two-and-a-half-inning Section 2-2A game.
