Alice M. Anderson Walters – California, Pa.

Alice M. Anderson Walters, 79, of California, Pa., passed away Friday, March 29, 2019, at Marquis Gardens Place in Uniontown. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, on April 6, 1939, daughter of the late George and Violet Long Anderson. Alice enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time with her grandchildren, whom she was very proud of. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis M. Walters; brother, Gene M. Long; and sister, Virginia L. Fokianos. She will be sadly missed by her three children, son, David Walters and wife Gina of California, son Thomas Walters and wife Lisa of Erie and daughter, Sheryl Gwyn and husband William of California. Also left behind to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Alyssa Walters, Nicholas Walters, Michael, Joshua and Steven Gwyn; her two brothers, Charles Anderson and family of North Carolina and George Anderson and family of Ohio; her two favorite nieces, Dorothy Setinsik of Ohio and LuAnn Marsh of Indiana; and her beloved dog, Jenni. Private services will be held at MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., with Pastor Todd Rutherford, officiating.
