A 26-year-old homeless man is accused of attacking a man on Meldon Avenue in Donora Monday and assaulting a police officer who tried to restrain him.
Antwane Cunningham was arraigned Thursday morning and placed in Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Donora police Officer Michael Parry was stopped around 11:30 p.m. Monday by a UniMart cashier, who told Parry he was needed immediately at Touched by an Angel, less than a block away.
Parry found Cunningham on the sidewalk in front of the personal care home yelling. According to the affidavit, Cunningham was banned from the home for allegedly harassing employees and business owner Jennifer Succuro for a month.
